2025 Senior Bowl Risers and Fallers
Which players' stock are moving up and which are falling after the Senior Bowl?
Four days on the ground in Mobile, Alabama equals five pounds gained from seafood consumption, declined kidney function from the nights out, and a decent sunburn on the left side of our faces.
But it also means we have new notes on players and can start to access which prospects most helped and hurt their stock throughout the week.
We’ll have a new Mock Draft up early next week, once the dust settles from the game and we rehydrate.
Today we’re looking at Players Who Lived Up to Hype, Players Moving up, and Players Moving Down
On to the notes!
Players Who Lived Up to the Hype
We can’t call these players “risers” because their grade or ranking isn’t changing, but we still want to celebrate players who go to Mobile and play damn good football. It’s important to sometimes just prove you are as good as we thought, and these players did that.
Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss — Nolen showed the violent first step and plus athletic ability that has him with a top 25 grade throughout practices. Also, credit to Nolen for showing up to Thursday’s practice after many top-tier prospects dropped out.
Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss — Dart came in to the week with late first round buzz, and he leaves with at least that. There were some moments early in the week where he was clearly acclimating to the new footballs, new teammates and doing “NFL things” like taking snaps under center, but he’s the best thrower of the football in Mobile. Especially on deep passes.
Quincy Riley, CB, Louisville — Riley was one of our favorites on film, and he looked great in working back from an ankle injury that slowed him down this season. He’s a legit 4.3 dude and is sticky in man coverage. He has a shot at Round 2.
