The 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl kicked off Tuesday with practices at the University of South Alabama. The National Team took the field first, anchored by an impressive group of pass-rushers, before the American Team with its loaded roster of first- and second-round picks on display.
Instead of boring you with big ledes and set up, let’s get right to our notebook which is full of nuggets on which players stood out to our scouts who were at practices live throughout the day.
National Practice
Boston College defensive end Donovan Ezeiruku jumped off the field with his first-step quickness. He has great burst and is a natural athlete with the twitch teams want in an edge-rusher. He’s a potential late first to early second round pick.
Louisville cornerback Quincy Riley had a great practice. He’s a feisty, physical cornerback who lives in the hip pocket of wide receivers. He also has the closing speed to quickly make up ground on vertical routes. He has a likely Day 2 grade.
Florida State cornerback Azareye’h Thomas was as good as advertised. He’s well-built with long arms, thick legs and has an easy, confident movement to his frame. He showed make-up speed when he got too aggressive and has the mentality and body to be very good in press situations. The late Round 1 buzz is warranted.
Miami tight end Elijah Arroyo is one of the best players here. He’s a natural mover with the size to leverage against defensive backs. He made several impressive catches away from his frame. His physicality plus athletic ability stand out. He’s a Round 2 player.
