Given your knowledge of the decision-makers and contacts within the organization, I'm astounded that your buy into the press-driven rumor mill that Shanahan prefers Jones and would expend so much draft capital to acquire such a limited prospect. Shanahan is one of the most competitive people on the planet and he has been waiting his entire career to get his hands on a QB prospect with superior traits and skills that he can mold to execute his ultimate offense; now he has that opportunity and you believe that he's going to pass in favor of yet another portion of mediocre? That just doesn't come close to passing the smell test. Why do so many folks believe that Shanahan would be OK with that? IF Jones was the real target why overspend when they could get him for far less?
A tackle that falls down the board for the Bears...realistically the tackle I could see falling to the Bears would be Darrisaw. And if they took him I would LOVE it!!! If they took Farley I would be very disappointed. I've had two discectomies on my back. once you have one back surgery you're prone to have more.
After letting Fuller go, can the Bears risk a Farley pick if he won't be ready to contribute as the season opens? I know the traits and tape are elite, but having back surgery in your early 20s doesn't bode well. Are there any other CB comps to look at that have had that procedure to compare pre/post surgery performance?
Matt So this info is coming from Shanahan I just don’t understand how Jed York could approve of this Mac Jones pick with his background info with how we got burned in the past an how much they are giving up I. Can’t wait to see this train wreck Josh Rosen is going to beat out Mac Jones
Good info here Matt, thanks for all the hard work!

I agree. If Jones is the target they could have gotten him at 12.
Awesome content. I hope you are ok with me using this knowledge to make my friends think I'm smart on draft night 🤣
That’s the goal haha
I like the way you used to put out positional break downs in groups while at bleacher, I think you called it 400 or something like that.
Do you mean rankings or the reports?
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2827969-nfl-draft-400-ranking-the-drafts-top-running-backs
it was what you did at Bleacher report, you released the positions with analysis. Some of the best work I have seen.
Same.
Will you do scouting reports with grades and comps for all top 300?
I use Matt's grades in my College to NFL fantasy projections.

Awesome Article Matt
When will your Big Board be dropping?
The more I think about this draft, the more I'm convinced that Indy won't be drafting in the 1st round.
Since the Patriots are looking to move up, if a QB slips to 11, what would you imagine the compensation be?
Matt - please do a “what you would do” break down for each team prior to the draft. Would be fun and personable for us

Positional rankings would be awesome!
