Agree, like the move for "their guy", despite the high cost. I was thinking it could be because they tried to move up the board for one of the top tackles last year and couldn't do it. Wanted the bird in hand i guess. --- but thanks!
That's a scenario I'm running through a lot right now. OL doesn't seem like a huge need and it's hard to peg this front office since they're new. I would slot DeVonta in there based on the situation you outlined here.

I really like the move but I'm surprised they did it this early. That usually means you're paying a premium vs. doing it on draft day.
