Matt, a little off the subject but you have Keith Taylor going in the fifth round. When I watched the Senior I really like him and fellow CB Ifeatu Melifonwu. I currently (my mock draft changes everyday) have Melifonwu going to Detroit #72 and Taylor going #74 to Washington. Am I putting too much stock into my opinions of these two and other players from their performances in the Senior Bowl?
Matt: Teven Jenkins says that he is geared for the right side. I suggest that he is not the optimum choice for the Chiefs as Lucas Niang's workouts are set up to prepare for the right side also. Liam Eichenberg or Alex Leatherwood are LOT's and Liam is said to be NFL ready at the outset. Wha say you?
OTO: I now can see Lucas Niang playing LOT. Did you see Nate Taylors article today on Niang? This gives me hope that he could move to LOT and then I like Jenkins. Hire back Remmers for depth at basically the Vet Minimum. I have no problem with Leatherwood either. I would prefer we go after Dickerson though, to replace Reiter and he is versatile enough for OG too. then Rankin adds a bunch to the mix. The OL would be set in one draft and maybe a couple of F/A signings.
My updated Chiefs three round draft is: #31 Sam Cosmi T Texas, #63 Landon Dickerson C Alabama and #94 D`Ante Smith T East Carolina. I realize that is an awful lot of offensive linemen but right now that is what they need (see this past Super Bowl).
For what it is worth I have Bevin Jordan #42 to the Giants and Keith Taylor #74 to Washington. I really like Taylor when I saw him play in the Senior Bowl. Am I over-rating him?

Yeah, that's why I went Jenkins for RT and Leatherwood for LT. Put Niang at guard and rock-and-roll.

Niang is 6-7. I don't think he moves inside. I do like Jenkins. I just don't think he is a fit now.
Last I heard from the team was that Niang was being moved. Of course a lot can change!
I think the will move Niang to LOT. That helps a bunch.
Then Jenkins Fits and he is an NFL ready type player.

Brevin Jordan in the fourth won’t happen. Even leatherwood is a stretch at late 2nd
I have Jordan #42 and Leatherwood #44 to the Cowboys.
