The long-awaited Texans-Dolphins trade could finally be happening as early as this week, according to reports. Why a third team could get involved in pursuit for Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa.
I'm not sure exactly I'm understanding the desire by the dolphins to do this trade. It's not like they can play Watson this season. Then the charges hanging over his head also would give me pause in even considering a deal. I'm not sure what the possible outcomes would be, but wouldn't he be suspended for a while and maybe even kicked out? With either of those possible scenarios it would be a huge gamble for even one 2nd rounder let alone multiple firsts. IMHO
I don’t entirely understand trading for a player with that many unknowns either. But I’m assuming teams know more than we do, or at least enough to know when he would be available.
A lot of questions need answers and I’m assuming we’ll get some of them when/if a trade becomes official.
