Mock drafts are a lot of fun to build because once you finalize one and publish it – a massive trade happens that forces you to start from the beginning.
I don't know if Toney will ever be able to learn how to run proper routes to be where Rodgers expects him to be. Therefore I really hope that the Packers will draft Bateman.
I think Packers fans would be happy with any of the wide receivers in that range. Bateman's route running ability definitely fits the Green Bay mold too.
I do believe Toney would still be a good weapon on this offense as he can make plays with the ball in his hands. Rodgers is often the one extending plays constantly and if he has more true playmakers on the offense, the explosiveness could pick up in a big way.
Thanks man! This would be a dream scenario for Miami, I would think.
I don't think it's that unrealistic either. If Miami drafts Sewell at 6, and Waddle or Smith slip a bit, trading up from 18 is definitely an option for them.
In division trades are rare, yes. But they’re not so uncommon that it’s not possible. They do happen, just not as often as out of division or out of conference trades. This year is so much harder to predict and evaluate where teams are at. I still get the sense a quiet sleeper team could be in on a QB and in my final mock, I went with Jon Gruden putting his job on the line for his guy.
So the Raiders are going to trade up with their division rivals for a QB that the same division rivals would love to have. Nothing about that trade is realistic. Raiders will take the best defensive player available. Carr will never and can not be replaced by a rookie QB not named Lawrence. Questionable mock, sorry.
This year is such a crazy year, and when you consider who the head coach and general manager are in Vegas, I rule nothing out. Sure, this isn't something I see as probable, but I do not think it's 100% out of the realm of possibility.
The idea behind Vegas trading up is less about who they're trading up with and more about picking a sleeper team to trade up for a QB. It could be Vegas, New Orleans, Washington, maybe even Philly.
In this mock, I chose a team in Vegas because I think the pressure is on for them to win in the coming years.

If Chargers can trade down and still get Darrisaw I would be extremely happy. But holy trade craziness.
This would be for for denver, trade down and still ferry the best defensive guy
Get*
This dolphin fan is happy with that. Nicely done.

I like the idea of Lance to the Raiders, but doubt a division rival would let a team in the division trade up. 🤷🏻♂️

Thanks for commenting Ronald!
