Our 7 Days - 7 Rounds mock draft continues with the fourth round of the 2021 NFL draft. Round 1 Round 2 Round 3 *Denotes compensatory selection 106. Jacksonville Jaguars Previous Picks: QB, S, TE, DL The Pick: IOL Kendrick Green, Illinois The interior of the Jaguars’ offensive line can still use some work. Kendrick Green is a monster at guard and while a bit raw technically, he could become an NFL starter by Year 2.
I am following from the Chiefs frame of ref: I am good until a TE in round 4. Chiefs have bigger needs and one of those could be to get a development player at OT, or a 2nd LB, or DE -- I just don't think the TE class is worth the attention.
Ok, let's just assume the Saints are really going to draft a RB this early - why wouldn't they go for Chubba Hubbard or Elijah Mitchell? Hell, even Kenneth Gainwell is a much more enticing player than Jaret Patterson.
I understand most of the picks and your previous explanation for not projecting trades, but man....if the Patriots come out of the first four rounds without at least a developmental QB it will feel like a waste (just one fan's opinion). Going into the season with just Cam and Stidham feels like a losing proposition long-term, no matter what we've managed to put around them.
The write-up for the Panthers' pick at 113 looks incomplete. "He's fast enough..." to ?
