The Shrine Bowl 1000: Our Favorites From the List
The East-West Shrine Bowl is making waves. Director of Football Operations Eric Galko has worked to modernize the game—including moving from a high school field in Florida for practices to Las Vegas, Nevada and working hand-in-hand with the NFL to boost the game.
Much like the Senior Bowl, the Shrine Game is working to become more transparent and more connected with the NFL Draft media. One way to generate some July buzz is to release a massive 1,000 player watch list.
And yeah, we’re pretty dang excited.
If you’re a scout—whether it’s an amateur, a hobbyist or a professional—this list is a great resource and a great starting point for your 2023 NFL draft evaluations. And since we don’t have notes on all 1,000 players (yet), we’re looking today at some of our favorites from the Shrine Bowl 1000.
