Job Title: Content Creator

Job Description: Create online content in the form of written articles, videos and social media graphics for TheDraftScout.com.

About Us: Launched in 2021, The Draft Scout is an online newsletter covering the NFL and NFL draft. Published by Matt Miller—a 10-year veteran of football media—The Draft Scout features over 13,000 subscribers and a growing platform for you to showcase your abilities. 

About the Role: You will help create original content and manage the Draft Scout brand on a part-time basis. Among the responsibilities of the role are:

• Written Opportunities: One article per week minimum with the ability to create your own topics and storylines.

• Exposure Expansion: The ideal candidate will be fluent in Photoshop or other photo-editing software in order to quickly create social media graphics centered around content and breaking news.

• Social Interactions: Get involved with our growing online community on social media and in our exclusive Discord group. You’ll be asked to join the Discord group and take part in virtual events (happy hours, Q&A sessions, live mock drafts, etc).

About You: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience as a columnist, analyst or writer is not required but candidates with some background in written content are preferred. 

• Experience in creating graphics and working with Photoshop/Illustrator templates.

• Understanding of the NFL and NFL Draft industry, terminology and content

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: This is a part-time opening and pay will match experience, ability and time spent creating content. A minimum salary will be paid with extra compensation added for candidates who excel in their area.
