Thanks for coming...Here's what's next.

Whew.

Since announcing The Draft Scout earlier this week, things have been a whirlwind but I wanted to drop in this week to check in with y’all and give an update on what’s expected.

But first…

THANK YOU to everyone who has signed up, sent supportive emails and texts, shared the link on social media and graciously invited me to be on your podcasts and radio shows.

I’m ready to get back to writing and am super excited to publish a full seven round NFL Mock Draft on launch day—February 11.

Until then, here’s what you can expect.

January 18 - 5:30pm EST / Zoom Happy Hour

Our first Zoom happy hour for subscribers. I’ll be popping open a Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat and hanging out for an hour answering questions, having fun and getting to know you guys. A link will be posted that day for access to the Zoom call.

January 25 - 29 / Senior Bowl Week

I’ll be in Mobile, Alabama for the 2021 Senior Bowl, and while I can’t start writing yet, I’ll be posting a ton of content on social media channels (@nfldraftscout) and taking notes for launch day.

I’m also hosting two meet-ups with my co-hosts from Two Guys, A Girl and a Pod. Those will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30pm at Draft Picks Taproom for any interested parties. We’ll be asking that if you don’t feel well, please don’t come, but otherwise we can mask-up and spread out. We’ve been doing this for 10 months, y’all know the drill, so if you come please be safe but let’s have some fun.

February 1 / Subscriber Mock Draft

This is something I’m really excited to try.

32 subscribers. 32 general managers. 1 round mock draft.

We’ll do this LIVE in a Zoom call that I’ll record and post for readers after the fact. You’ll have a chance to sign up to be the GM of your team and we’ll do a live mock draft of the first 32 picks of the draft.

February 11 / Launch Day

We’ll launch today with a full seven round mock draft and a Zoom Happy Hour that evening to break down the mock and really kick things off. Expect at least one special guest to join us tonight.
