Many talented players have signed or will sign with NFL teams as undrafted free agents.
Give us a player that wasn’t drafted that you absolutely LOVE.
Here at The Draft Scout, we love Cade Johnson, WR out of South Dakota State.
Give us some names that weren’t drafted that you believe could be starters in the NFL. Players you absolutely love and were shocked they weren’t drafted.
Dylan Moses, Ar’Darius Washington, Justin Hilliard, Sage Surratt to name the top, but honestly there’s too many to list.
Because of the lack of information in this draft class, I predict that the class of 2021 will be the class with the most success from UDFAs and late round picks who just should have went higher
Ragas brought the Ragin' to the Cajuns and was in integral part of the 9-1 season for up-and-coming HC Billy Napier. At 5'10, 230lbs Ragas is a load of a workhorse back with surprisingly nimble feet. My comp for him is former Louisville and Oakland Raiders RB Michael Bush. He could bring depth for a backfield looking for better short yardage production like the Falcons and would complement FA signee RB Mike Davis of similar stature.
Watch: WR Brennan Eagles, Texas
Eagles really can fly and while I love his former Longhorn QB Sam Ehlinger, I think Eagles would flourish with a more traditional QB. I understand that the league is not as traditional in its QB play or in its WR archetypes, but at 6'4, 225lbs Eagles has all the tools desired in a WR. He could be a sneaky add for a team like the Patriots who is still doing work with fellow UDFA WR Jakobi Meyers.
Great stuff here Chris! It's hard to disagree with you on these guys. As I've mentioned in the past, a lot of talented players went undrafted. It will be very interesting which guys make it on rosters and how they contribute in year one.
I believe we all take the success of undrafted RB James Robinson last year with the Jaguars, with a huge grain of salt. It's incredibly possible, especially in these covid years, that true NFL talents were missed. I think opportunity more than fit matters as many UDFAs really struggled with just that last year because of early covid restrictions. That's is why I like the predictions for those two picks because I do not believe those positions are set for those two teams, respectively.
I did like Cade Johnson when I watched the Senior Bowl. What happened to Marvin Wilson? In October, 2020 he was listed as a potential top-10 pick. I had Shakur Brown going #98. I missed that one.
I actually had Marvin Wilson being drafted by the Browns in the 3rd! They steal him as an UDFA. Amazing! I think overall his production was down last year and that was enough to hurt his stock. Have to wonder, if he had opted out, would he have been drafted?
Both he and Chris Evans from Michigan have a great opportunity here to compete for a spell or 3rd down back after Gio Bernard left. I still think Joe Mixon needed an OL upgrade as much as Joe Burrow did to stay healthy and increase his production.
I was hoping my Colts would go for Josh Immatorbhebhe, hope he gets a shot in Jacksonville! I was surprised to see Javian Hawkins go undrafted but love his landing spot!
Marlon Williams ucf sure he’s not fast but neither was Anquan Boldin and I see some similarities between the two plus he runs after the catch like beast mode looking to initiate contact and dragging defenders down field.
I am shocked that Colorado State WR Warren Jackson went undrafted. I think he can make a name with the Broncos and maybe supplant Tim Patrick despite him coming on late last year.
DYLAN MOSES! I know he has question marks regarding health, but he's good enough to make the team if he is healthy. Also, Miller Forristall can be a solid depth piece at TE. Doubt he has a major impact, though.
Marvin Wilson. Past this year the Browns are thin on the interior and if he can keep his head on straight, I think him and Togiai could be the future of the Browns' interior d-line
Love that signing! I had them taking a RB and they steal Jaret Patterson undrafted. Going to be a great compliment for Gibson. Ron loves small guys with big game.
Jaguars snagging Josh Imatorbhebhe right away was a guy I wanted to see land in place where he will have opportunity to learn
Big receiver who has a lot to learn, raw talent. It'll be interesting to see if/how they use him.
Dylan Moses, Ar’Darius Washington, Justin Hilliard, Sage Surratt to name the top, but honestly there’s too many to list.

I agree, a lot of talented player went undrafted. Hopefully they all get a fair shot to prove what they can do.
I thought Sage Surratt would be a mid round pick. He’s got a great opportunity in Detroit to make the team and be a contributor.
I still like Sage a lot. I like the football family and him and his brother have a close relationship which should benefit both plays.
Jonathan Adams Jr, Shakur Brown
Shakur Brown is an interesting one. He's shown flashes of great play, just needs to be more consistent.
I was shocked that Marvin Wilson and Dylan Moses went undrafted
Ar’Darius Washington
Great pick! I liked Washington a lot at TCU.
Two players: 1 I Love and 1 to Watch
Love: RB Trey Ragas, Lousiana
Ragas brought the Ragin' to the Cajuns and was in integral part of the 9-1 season for up-and-coming HC Billy Napier. At 5'10, 230lbs Ragas is a load of a workhorse back with surprisingly nimble feet. I had Wilson going #121 to the Raiders. I knew he was not going to be a day one or two pick but I did think he would get drafted.
Tomarrion Terry!!
Trill Williams looks like a steal, Pooka Williams Jr. Gonna make a team somewhere
Just to update: Pooka Williams Jr did sign with the Bengals!
Like that singing for Cincinnati.
Both he and Chris Evans from Michigan have a great opportunity here to compete for a spell or 3rd down back after Gio Bernard left. I still think Joe Mixon needed an OL upgrade as much as Joe Burrow did to stay healthy and increase his production.
Signing* damn autocorrect.
I like both of those players! Pooka Williams could become an elite special teams player, too!
For what it is worth a lot of scouts thought Trill Williams should have stayed in school. I had him going "#181 to the Chiefs.
I was hoping my Colts would go for Josh Immatorbhebhe, hope he gets a shot in Jacksonville! I was surprised to see Javian Hawkins go undrafted but love his landing spot!
It'll be interesting to see how they use him, if they do.
Paddy Fisher
TAMORRION TERRY!!! @ThatEnglandGuy
Justin Hilliard
Kenny Yeobah. Solid UDFA pickup that will have an immediate chance to compete for the Jets TE spot
*Yeboah
My guys from Iowa, Brandon Smith and Aleric Jackson - how can you not draft a 4 year O-line starter from Iowa?
Marlon Williams ucf sure he’s not fast but neither was Anquan Boldin and I see some similarities between the two plus he runs after the catch like beast mode looking to initiate contact and dragging defenders down field.
Josh Ihmo and Osiris Mitchell are interesting and not signed yet— I think?
I am shocked that Colorado State WR Warren Jackson went undrafted. I think he can make a name with the Broncos and maybe supplant Tim Patrick despite him coming on late last year.
A lot of good WRs went undrafted, which surprised me.
Also Justin Hilliard and David Moore
Cade Johnson WR
Like Cade Johnson but Seahawks also signed my favorite UDFA in Tamorrion Terry. He has 1st round talent if he can stay in line.
I like Terry too. I was a little surprised someone didn't take a flier on him on day 3.
Marvin Wilson, Jamie Newman (project), and Justin Hilliard
Jamie Newman not getting drafted was a surprise to me. The raw traits are there with him, just needs a lot of development.
DYLAN MOSES! I know he has question marks regarding health, but he's good enough to make the team if he is healthy. Also, Miller Forristall can be a solid depth piece at TE. Doubt he has a major impact, though.
Dylan Moses has a lot of upside if he can stay healthy.
ar'darius washington
bryce hargrove atlanta falcons
Marvin Wilson. Past this year the Browns are thin on the interior and if he can keep his head on straight, I think him and Togiai could be the future of the Browns' interior d-line
Paddy Fisher. Am I crazy?
Briley Moore
Jaret Patterson?
WFT signed him and he's definitely someone to keep an eye on.
Love that signing! I had them taking a RB and they steal Jaret Patterson undrafted. Going to be a great compliment for Gibson. Ron loves small guys with big game.
Alaric Jackson
Charles Snowden, without injuries he'd have been Rd 3-5. Great size and length
Injuries aside, a lot of upside and traits you like to see.
Foster Sarrel. Ton of talent and athleticism, lot of injuries.
