Name: Dyami Brown
Position: WR
College: North Carolina
Height: 6’1"
Weight: 189 lbs (pro day)
Overall Rank: No. 57 overall
Position Rank: WR8
Strengths: An explosive, versatile receiver with 4.4 speed and a ton of big play ability. Brown is excellent as a deep threat given his acceleration skills and ability to track the ball over his shoulder. Brown specialized in chunk plays and touchdowns and was one of the most productive receivers in college per touch. Brown’s ability to run past coverage and dial-up burst when cornerbacks are sitting on his route is impressive. With good size and speed, Brown can play as an outside receiver and would be a Day 1 deep threat.
Weaknesses: It’s all or nothing for Brown, who makes his impact as a deep threat and in the endzone but hasn’t been a consistent pass-catcher to move the chains. His routes need work as he hasn’t been exposed to many concepts or been asked to run a diverse route tree. Drops are a scary issue that must be cleaned up.
What I Love: Brown is a home run hitter with electric big play ability. He has to work on consistency, but paired with a strong-armed quarterback in a vertical scheme, he could thrive.
