Name: Azeez Ojulari
Position: Edge-Rusher
College: Georgia
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 249 lbs
Overall Rank: No. 28 overall
Position Rank: EDGE4
Strengths: If you’re looking for speed and length, look no further than Azeez Ojulari. His 34.5” arm length paired with excellent first step quickness makes him an ideal 34 OLB. His breakout year in 2019 (5.5 sacks) was just the start as he become a nightmare for SEC offenses in 2020. Ojulari rocks linemen with explosive quickness and surprising strength on a leaner frame. He knows how to dip and bend and uses his length to finish plays. Against the run he can hold the edge and will use his length to expand his tackling radius; he’s also very capable when given a free release on running down the ball. As a situational rusher early on, Ojulari can be very impactful while rounding out the rest of his game.
Weaknesses: Ojulari bulked up for his pro day but he played closer to 230 pounds. That could be too light even for teams that want him operating in space. Getting stuck on blocks is the biggest issue with his game but he also has to better diagnose to not get fooled on misdirection. Right now he has one really good pass-rush move (burst) but has to round out his game and learn to consistently counter.
What I Love: First-step quickness wins in the NFL and Ojulari has plenty of that. He’s disruptive and dangerous when in space. Teams running a 3-4 defense or a wide-9 version of a 4-3 should love his tape.

One of my favorite EDGE guys. I have a feeling the Giants take him round 1.
