Before we pack our bags for Indianapolis and prepare for what should be an awesome week of networking, watching drills, and eating way too much shrimp cocktail we wanted to take a look at 10 players you should be keeping an eye on next week.
Some of these players are expected to light up the track in Indy—where it should be noted they’ve installed new turf and the surface is expected to run slower than last year—and some are players who might ace the agilities or position-specific work.
Let’s get into it.
1. Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
Emmanwori was created in the same lab as the Ninja Turtles. He’s a mutant. And damn-near a teenager as a true junior entering the 2025 draft class. At 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, he’s a special athlete. South Carolina coaches think he’ll run in the mid-4.3s. He’s also capable of jumping 42-inches on the vertical and should put up over 20 reps of 225 pounds if he chooses to do the bench press. Emmanwori has been compared to Derwin James and for good reason. He’s a top 20 player in this class.
2. Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan
Putting a 350 pound defensive tackle on this list might seem like cheating or crazy, but Grant is a special athlete. Michigan coaches have timed in at 5.00 in the 40-yard dash and tell us he’ll be one of the best players when it comes to navigating bag drills that defensive linemen do. Grant is a fringe first-rounder, but could and should solidify his stock this week after teams see just how special he is as a raw athlete.
