2025 NFL Draft Stock Watch: 8 Prospects on the Rise + 3 on the Fall
We’ve officially hit the first quarter mark of the 2025 season with four weeks of play underway.
That means we can take a look at a handful of players who have risen on our rankings throughout the early portion of the season. And of course, we’ll flip it around and look at a few who have not met expectations so far.
Using our summer scouting grades as a foundation, here are eight players who are moving up our Big Boards and three players moving down. And for fun, let’s look at a fresh Top 25 big board list at the end of the article.
Stock Up
Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama (6’2”, 225 lbs, Round 2)
Milroe has been exceptional in Kalen DeBoer’s offense, showing a mastery of the deep ball and his penchant for creating yards in the ground game. In an Alabama offense that’s relying on a new cast of characters around him, Milroe has been elite. He needs to continue to work the middle of the field better, but it’s hard to not get Jalen Hurts vibes (with a stronger arm) from him this season.
Favorite Stat: 99 // Milroe has a QBR of 99 or higher on difficult throws (hooks, corners, deep routes and vertical routes)
Week 5: vs. Georgia
Cam Ward, QB, Miami (6’2”, 224 lbs, Round 2)
Ward was a star at Incarnate Ward before he was a star at Washington State. Now he’s at Miami and he continues to play high-level football. A Heisman contender, Ward is tearing apart opponents with his arm and his legs. He’s second in the nation with 11.35 yards per drop back—trailing only Jaxson Dart.
Favorite Stat: 94.4 // That’s Ward’s Total QBR—QBR adjusted for opponent—and it’s the second-best in the nation.
Week 5: vs. Virginia Tech (Friday)
