2024 Senior Bowl: Complete Rosters + Best Prospects at Each Position
The 2024 Senior Bowl rosters have been announced, barring a few late additions, and this year there’s a change—the “senior” bowl is allowing underclassmen as part of a new NFL rule that allows declared underclassmen to participate in all-star games.
Redshirt sophomores and juniors—players who have completed three years of college—can apply for special admission to the NFL prior to the hard deadline of January 15. These players can then be accepted to an all-star game like the Senior Bowl or Shrine Game.
Thanks to this, the 2024 Senior Bowl rosters are the deepest we’ve seen at multiple positions.
Let’s do a breakdown of each group and look at the best player from every position.
QUARTERBACK
Sam Hartman, Notre Dame
Joe Milton III, Tennessee
Bo Nix, Oregon
Michael Pratt, Tulane
Spencer Rattler, South Carolina
Top Prospect: Bo Nix, Oregon
It’s very likely we see another addition here—probably Michael Penix (Washington) or maybe J.J. McCarthy (Michigan) if executive director Jim Nagy can pull some strings. For now, Nix is the top passer and will have a homecoming of sorts getting back to south Alabama. Scouts will want to see Nix operate throwing down the field with touch and timing after largely living with passes near the line of scrimmage at Oregon.
