It’s never too early to start looking at the next crop of prospects for the NFL draft - I’ve been on 2024 since mid-April. I’ll be releasing the notes I’ve taken so far on a few prospects - starting with the quarterbacks and releasing a different position group each week. These are not complete scouting reports but some observations I’ve made so far. Enjoy

+ Positives and strengths
- Negatives or needs work
? Questions I still have, things I haven’t seen on tape yet

Caleb Williams, USC, 6’1, 210
+ Able to extend plays with his legs, can be used on designed runs
+ Has the arm strength to make all the throws
+ Can throw from multiple platforms and on the move
+ Shows up in big moments

- Takes some unnecessary risk, can be careless with the ball when on the move
- Needs to add bulk to his frame to avoid injury
- Simplistic offense under Lincoln Riley

? Can he play under center
? How many reads is he required to make

Passing Yards: 4537
Passing Touchdowns: 42
Interceptions: 5
Rushing Yards: 382
Rushing Touchdowns: 10

Comp: Patrick Mahomes
