Nothing gets people going like a good list or rankings article. In fact, articles just like this one are why so many people got into sports in the first place. Remember the NFL Films Top 10 shows? Loved them. And with the 2024 season ramping up over the next two months, we’re going to start a series of power rankings for each position.

Up first, the quarterbacks.

We’re basing this list on past successes, predicted future glory, and weighing in things like age, injury, and consistency to project forward a ranking for Week 1 of the 2024 season. Because of that, some veterans might be lower or higher than you think they should be. And that’s why we have a comment section!


Tier 1 - Baby GOAT

1. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

He’s the best player on the planet and it’s really only debated if you’re a fan of the Denver Broncos or Las Vegas Raiders. You either love Mahomes or you wish your team had him.

Tier 2 - Elite

2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

Allen has been the second-best in the league for years now despite not getting the respect he deserves as a big-game star. His arm talent, running ability and toughness are ideal traits.

3. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

Staying healthy is a real concern for Burrow, who missed seven games last year and has missed games in two of his four pro seasons. But when healthy, he’s a fierce leader who grinds out wins with accuracy, mobility and moxy.
