2024 NFL Mock Draft: Vikings-Chargers Trade Shakes up Round 1

We’ve reached the time of year when every mock draft starts to look the same. And that’s sometimes for good reason as clarity is gained as to which positions and players teams are targeting.

Open any mock draft and you’ll see the Chicago Bears drafting Caleb Williams with the first overall pick. Then a collection of quarterbacks going to Washington, New England and usually a trade up involving the Cardinals or Chargers.

This mock draft is no different—and that’s because it’s based on what we’re hearing from NFL teams as the draft nears. In the final three weeks, information becomes solid and it’s easier to pin-point moves. Instead of connecting dots or pretending to have info, we’re giving you what we have and not pretending when we don’t have the answers.

So this mock draft will look familiar. It’s very similar to all we’ve posted since the NFL scouting combine; at least at the top of the order.
