2022 NFL Mock Draft: Mello & Corey's first-round predictions
In their first co-mock draft of the season, Mello and Corey run through back-and-forth predictions for how the first-round could play out next month.
We’ve spent a lot of time over the last week evaluating draft prospects’ measurements, workouts, abilities and scheme fits coming out of last week’s scouting combine. The combine doesn’t paint the whole picture of who a player is, however. Prior evaluations we make can either be validated by combine workouts or have us frantically running back to the office like our hair is on fire to throw on more tape.
Like everyone, we’ve adjusted our boards, modified our rankings and gauged how teams and others around the league feel about certain rising or falling prospects.
This draft is truly interesting due to the unknown surrounding so many teams. Who will Jacksonville take with the No. 1 pick? Will Seattle take a QB at No. 9 after trading Russell Wilson to Denver? Which WR will be the first to come off the board? The list goes on.
In our first co-mock draft of the season, Mello and Corey run through their predictions for the first-round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
