Night one of the 2022 NFL Draft didn’t disappoint. We expected some level of chaos and surprises last night, but the night may have even exceeded our expectations. The Texans were expected to surprise us with their third overall selection, and they sort of did when they took LSU CB Derek Stingley Jr. Love this pick, by the way.

For the first time since 2013, only one quarterback went in the first round. As recent buzz suggested to us, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected Pitt’s Kenny Pickett with the 20th pick.
