The early word on the 2022 draft class: loaded. There are seven quarterbacks ranked in the top 50 overall and 14 quarterbacks on my early watch list. And that’s just the quarterbacks. 2022’s class looks to be deep again at wide receiver (this is becoming a yearly occurrence) and running back. It has notable talents at cornerback and defensive line where the 2021 class lacked top-tier, “presidential” talents.
It feels like the EDGE class is going to be loaded this year.
At the risk of starting problems with Bears and Chargers fans, my ideal scenario is that Fields shows out as a franchise passer, but the surround team takes a step back, like the 2020 Chargers and keeps their top pick in the top 15 which conveys to the Giants. :)
As a Razorback fan, I'm very interested to see where Treylon Burks ends up. Could be our highest prospect in a long time. Thoughts? Will average/bad QB play hurt him this year?
Quick note. It's Kaiir Elam. What are your thoughts on Elam? As a gators fan I'm obviously biased but I think he's better than Henderson was. Hoping he makes a huge leap.
I am very interested to see your opinion on Will McDonald at Iowa State. He reminds me a bit of Bruce Irvin coming out. Undersized pass rush specialist.
