Today I’m releasing my notes on 10 quarterbacks I’m watching for the 2023 NFL Draft and what I think so far. This is a very rough look at the 2021 season and a limited amount of games for these quarterbacks but it gives you a look at what I’m thinking and seeing so far. Also, a lot can change throughout the spring and summer. Therefore, this is obviously (I hope) not my final thoughts on these players and more tape will be watched and opinions will change.

Let’s start with the explanations.

Vs - will give you the players stats for the game(s) I watched.

+ What I see that I like

- What I see that I don’t like

? Things that I haven’t seen that I’m questioning. Example: “Arm strength” would mean I haven’t seen enough throws to tell if the players has NFL arm strength.

Comp - Who that player reminds me of. NOT how good I think the player can be

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" Deep accuracy - want to see more
? Can he fit the window with arm strength

Comp: Joe Burrow-ish

I was more impressed by Van Dyke than I thought I would be. There is a lot of hype surrounding him going into the 2022 college football season and deservingly so. Van Dyke flashes big time potential and should look even better in 2022 as the established starter and leader of the offense. The first round buzz is real and QB3 is in sight for the sophomore quarterback.
